the collectors
in germany there is a pledge on bottles and cans. Bringing them back to a store makes 0,15 cent or 0,25 cent. depends on the bottle. since there is pledge on nearly every bottle and we have nearly no more cans (to protect the enviroment) more and more poor people spend their day collecting bottles. they search them everywhere. we have a very clean town. it is not easy to find some thrown away bottles. it may happen that you sit outside on a lounge and drink your beer and a collector grabs it when you put it on earth. even if you put it under your seat. of course it is empty then.
we did not have this some years ago…now they become more and more.
i am glad to see people do something to get some extra money.
